Opinions Matter

I have had it with all of this Liberal BS.  It makes no sense what so ever not to drill in Alaska and in the oceans outside our boarders.  They say that it take almost 10 years for us to see any results, well if we got started back in 1995 before Clinton Vetoed it we would have those oil rigs primed and read to go 3 years ago.  However the Dems are looking for alternate sources for our cars. Well wake up. It will take years and years to find that source also.  Then on top of that every single American has to buy one too.  I’m 32 years old, I won’t see that happen in my lifetime.   The main reason why the Liberals don’t want to drill is that they don’t want to see oil companies get richer.  Well I could give a Shit.  It never effected me that the oil companies are making money, maybe more money then they should.  It is effecting ME with the High gas prices.  Everyone is saying Bush this Bush that.  It is the Liberal majority in congress that is not doing anything. Bush can’t do anything without there approval. His hands are tied.  If you notice gas prices have been going up ever since the new Democratic ran Congress and Senate.   If Omaba is elected we will see no relief in these prices. He is waiting for us to make the solar powered car and have every American drive one.  That BS sound like it will happen in 100 years no just 10.  Wake up and help us Americans out and approval the drilling.

Yes that’s right feel sport fans, the Rays Sweep there first series of the year. Brings there Record to .500 and we have a 3 game set with Boston at home.  Yes I did say Home but it will fell like they are at fenway park without the green monster. It is a shame that everyone up north moved down for the weather and we are infested with Redsox and Yankee fans.  I feel bad for the players. It will feel like a away game.  I hope they fight thru it and take 2 of at least 3 from Boston, That would be a great achievement.   We will see. Go Rays!

German Talis, 22, was shouting obscenities at the Bushes, who were leaving the building Tuesday, when he crossed paths with Wendy and John Lovetro and their daughter Maureen, 18, who has cerebral palsy.

They had been in the audience to hear the Bushes talk about their children’s book, “Read All About It.”

“He began yelling about Iraq and Iran at Jenna Bush. She was waving at the crowd. I told the guy, ‘What are you doing? Shut up. This is about a child and books,’ ” said John Lovetro. “He was unperturbed. I said, ‘Get out of here! You’re being a moron!’ “

The next thing he knew, Talis was allegedly punching Maureen, a fan of the first lady since meeting her in 2004.

A 5-3 win last night. On a solid pitching from Hammel.  Except he did walk a few to many batters but all and all it was a good night.   Longoria proves with worth once again with a bases loaded RBI single with 2 outs.  Lets all hope for a sweep tonight with Sonnanstine at the plate. He had a great last game lets see if he continues. A win would put the Rays at .500 with the Red Soxs over the weekend.

“ATLANTA  —  Atlanta police have arrested a high school student and her mother in the beating of the girl’s teacher.

Forty-four-year-old GeorgiaThornton and her daughter, 17-year-old Sequita Thornton, have been charged with attacking Felecia Williams at Southside High School on February 28th.

According to a police report, the mother was charged with battery on a school teacher, disrupting public schools, criminal trespass and theft by taking in connection with the attack. Sequita was charged with battery on a teacher and disrupting public schools.

AtlantaPublic Schools spokesman Joe Manguno says Atlanta school officials have also permanently expelled the girl and ordered her to pay $500 toward the teacher’s medical expenses.

Williams said Tuesday she had met with Thornton previously to discuss Sequita’s grades and sporadic attendance.

On the day of the incident, Williams says the pair walked into her classroom during class and began arguing about a book. The teacher says she asked them to leave, but the mother pushed past her and grabbed a book off her desk. According to a police report, when Williams tried to get the book back, the mother pulled the teacher’s hair and threw her to the ground. Then the mother and daughter stomped on the teacher.” - Fox news

Good parent influence, Just one example of why kids act the way they do these days.  Good up bringing starts at home!

The Tampa Bay Rays win last night 6-4 over the Toronto Bluejays. It was a game where there bats finally come alive. Lately they have a few bats here and there but never had a full team effort from batters 1-9. This is the closest they come. Most of there runs came from hitters 5-9 witch is good. When 1-4 get hot and 5-9 stay steady we will be a team to recon with. I am looking for a Sweep of the Jays. If this happens we will be back at .500 and looking ahead to Boston.  We just need to win series after series and get 5-10 games above .500 to help sustain. 

This is definaly a team to watch in the future. 2008 2009 and beyond. don’t worry I will keep you all posted. I hope there are some fans out there!

How do they announce a winner of the Pennsylvania primary with only 7% reporting?  Anyone explain how they do this?   Just wondering I’m not voting for either.

Have you noticed a change in how children as little as 8 years old and up have changed over the years?  Now I am not talking about all children and teenagers. It seems to me that there is a vast majority of kids that have no respect for anything. No respect for authority, No respect for adults, no respect for property, and no respect for themselves.  What matters to them is what is on Youtube and Myspace. How to become famous and what to do when there bored and not infront of the video games and internet. Back in the day kids hung out and played sports or tag or a varity of other things. We did not have Internet, 500 channels on TV or cell phones. 

For example, I live in a community in Florida.  In the past year we have had kids vandlisze our community pool over and over again where it is not even enjoyable to go to.  Here is a list of what has been done: Sawing off the legs all of the chairs and lounge chairs. Throwing picnic table in the pool. Breaking thru the fence to get in the pool because they don’t have a key. Destroying the bathrooms by throwing shit around(literally), taking out the toilet and sink, Leaving drug needles and breaking the bathroom doors. Don’t kids have something better to do then screw with the pool the is suppose to be enjoyable for over 300 houses. We are now having to close the pool early and actually have residents kick people out. They get treated with abuse, language and treats of violence.  This is not how kids are supposed to act. They are supposed to respect property and adults.

Where does this come from? Parents? Peers? School? 

I could go on and on but I will start there… I welcome any thoughts.

p.s.  I am not an old fart. I’m a 32 year old man that was just brought up decent and I don’t want my investment ruined.
